Apple prepping Air-like 15-inch MacBook, report says

Apple prepping Air-like 15-inch MacBook, report says One tech site claimed last July which 15-inch model will likely be cute Nexus 4 case aspect of the MacBook Pro line. Macrumors, that supports the MacBook Pro theory, had originally reported about a ultrathin MacBook last July.

Presumably, aMac laptop as thin simply because Air won't have an optical drive. That would be in accordance with the quantity of Air-like Ultrabooks now showing up in the market.

And it would interesting if Apple extended Air-like designs up to 17 inches. While there are many of 11- and 13-inch Windows Ultrabook designs around, we have witnessed few with 15-inch or 17-inch screens, though Dell nexus 4 wallet case tried this once showcasing Latitude Z. That 0.8-inch thick laptop got a 16-inch screen.

Of course, one of the popular intriguing questions is timing. Would Apple bring in a spanking-new model in keeping with current Intel Sandy Bridge processors or wait for preferable Ivy Bridge chips due by late from your first quarter or early second quarter of 2012?

Ivy Bridge will support USB 3.0 this built-in graphics processor will also be likely to be compliant with OpenCL, a technology that accelerates gaming and multimedia operations.
